Not Dead Yet Media focuses in purchasing music assets that encompass the independent music sector, scene, culture and attitude.


With our partners at Goldstate Music, we successfully acquired the Dead Kennedys, one of most important and influential punk artists of all time. We secured both the masters and publishing rights, and in unprecedented fashion, added the band's IP, including their website and one of the most iconic logos in punk rock history.


The Dead Kennedys were one of the first punk artists to merge revolutionary politics with hardcore punk music. Formed in San Francisco, California in 1978, the band released seven albums, including the critically acclaimed Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables.


We’re honored to have earned the trust of the band and excited to work with them to continue to safeguard their legacy and continue to build it so they continue to receive the recognition they deserve.


Our venture began by working with Artisan to bring the Dropkick Murphys to Lyric Capital, helping to secure their master and publishing rights.
