The Indie Music Network Live: Building The Indie Coalition
The Salon Series is a gathering of the indie community for conversations and crowd sourcing ideas to enact practical plans to empower the indie scene and community.
That's our commitment to everyone in the room.
We treat the Salon meeting like a record label marketing meeting, generating ideas in real time. No one leaves without a plan.
Our first priority is to focus on the initiative that came out of the Salon - “Going Underground Live”, a NYC and Brooklyn Venues Circuit. We are incubating and testing the best strategies to help clubs increase revenue, attendance, and visibility.
Venues agree to work together to present a powerful branded circuit that develops indie artists and builds larger audiences.
Coordinating shows, fan data, promotion, and marketing content, music influencers, adds needed leverage — creating outsize influence across the music industry, advertising, and media, and opening new revenue streams for clubs and artists
The coalition will bring new revenue that is shared through a pre-agreed revenue pool split.
Our goal is to build a network and community where everyone benefits. Clubs are the foundation for indie artists to build fan bases and are essential to launching a quality career.
No One Leaves Without a Plan.
HOW IT WORKS:
-SHOWS: Artists join a package show - one per week - for mid week performances at participating venues
-PERFORMANCES RECORDED: Each show is recorded for distribution on all social media platforms including - YouTube Show, Discord,
-BROADCAST: YOUTUBE, PODCASTS, DISTRIBUTION: THE ORCHARD
-MERCHANDISING: NEW WEBSITE / D2C
-PAY OUT: ONE POT TO BE SHARED AMONG THE COALITION PARTICIPATING PARTNERS
-REVENUES: FOR PROFIT AND NON PROFIT APPROACHES
-GOAL: TO BEGIN TO PAY FOR HALF THE VENUE RENT FOR EACH PERFORMANCE
